Marketing Assistant Role

 

The Marketing Assistant is an inside resource dedicated to developing marketing strategies for long term growth of PKA. This individual will provide ongoing assistance to the lead marketing manager in coordinating company-wide events, tradeshows, and maintaining the company’s digital presence. Additionally, they will directly communicate and report to the Marketing Manager on a day-to-day basis. This role is on site, located at our headquarter office in Montvale, NJ.

 

  1. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Plan for trade shows and events, including ordering of giveaways, communicating with event coordinators, and being on-site when needed
  • Booking travel arrangements
  • Organizing campaigns in salesforce and developing marketing strategies
  • Helping to create and update company newsletter
  • Work with technology partners on marketing campaigns
  • Work with outside agencies on digital media

 

  1. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong listening skills
  • Must be detail oriented and organized
  • A self-starter who can effectively work within a strong team culture
  • Time Management skills — able to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel required
  • Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of graphic design tools and digital marketing is a plus
