Position Overview

Essential Job Functions • Coordinate all Demand Generation and Marketing Events • Execute event marketing objectives and attendee participation activities. • Manage detailed projects from start to finish, effectively communicating progress and results. • Coordinate manufacturer marketing programs specific to PKA. • Ensure manufacturer promotions are communicated within PKA. • Responsible for creation of PKA sales presentation sales literature. • Responsible for Web Site Maintenance.
Requirements • Successful candidate for this role will be competitive, proactive, self-motivated, self-directed, excellent listeners, speakers and written communications. • Experience in trade shows, event coordination, or media promotions. • Event management and or sales experience desired. Four-year degree in marketing communications or business administration is preferred.
Other Skills/Abilities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint. • Experience in Photoshop a plus.

Systems Engineer / Technical Sales
PKA Technologies is an exclusive HP Enterprise reseller located in Suffern, NY, 30 minutes from NYC and just 3 miles from the northern New Jersey border. We provide the next generation of UNIX, LINUX, WINTEL and OVMS network servers as well as Enterprise SAN and NAS storage as well as specializing in Vertitas, OpenView, VMWare and Oracle.
Job Description:
Candidate will have a strong background in HPUX or UX and SAN administration in a large multi-platform environment. This includes installing, configuring, provisioning and maintaining Unix Servers, storage area networks, storage related software, monitoring storage platforms as well as related systems.

Responsibilities/Position Functions:

Requirements: • Minimum 4 years experience supporting UNIX servers (HPUX Preferred and or LINUX and OVMS) as well as working Windows knowledge
• Candidate must also have advanced knowledge HP Enterprise Storage and Servers, and Storage Software.

PKA Technologies is searching for ( 4 ) top notch Account Managers ( all new positions due to growth ) to join our Sales Teams in our Suffern, NY office. These opportunities include base + commission + Travel/Car expenses and full benefits.
Responsibilities:
PKA is looking for experienced, confident, highly productive Account Managers to sell HP Enterprise products and services. The successful candidate will through networking, self-prospecting, industry referrals and internal leads, be positioned to exceed monthly sales objectives. Through, consultative selling, the Account Manager will analyze customer needs, make winning presentations, present business solutions, and close accounts. Keys to success will include sourcing/finding new business, and through outstanding customer service and industry knowledge, retain and grow PKA's existing customer base.
Requirements:
· Minimum of 3 - 4 years of successful B2B outside sales experience
· Knowledgably of HP Enterprise Server & Storage Products
· Experience selling HP-UX or Sun Solais desirable
· System Upgrades and Networking equipment
· Service contracts, consulting and support services
· Excellent presentation and communications skills and closing experience.
· Entrepreneurial, motivated with ' Hunter' ability
· Excellent organizational change, time management and analytical skills
· Top performer, in a previous sales position
Desirable Skills:
